Artist’s Statement
I’m Angela MacManus, a Ridgefield resident who’s the photographer and artist behind ‘by Angela Jane™ ’ which is the name I use for my artwork and online presence.
I purely focus on beautiful pieces of art and gifts for your home or office, where everything is either photographed by me on my travels around the world, painted, digitally created, or lovingly handcrafted, in my Ridgefield Connecticut studio.
For this show I have selected one genre – photography – and have picked a small selection showing varied landscapes, seascapes, and animals from my travels in the US, Europe, and UK.
The images on display range from large, limited edition, statement panoramic landscapes to smaller, open edition, cute animal scenes – each with its own personal (to me) story.
I hope you like looking at photographs as much as I do, and that they evoke calming, happy memories and emotions for you too…
…hearing your stories and how you connect to my images, for me, is what makes it all worthwhile.
