Special Event: “Stone Soup” Open Mic Night at The Market

A collaborative open mic!

The story of stone soup is about the beauty of collaboration… everyone’s individual ingredients could taste much better when combined and cooked together in one big soup. Open mics are amazing for every artist getting their sole moment of glory, but they could become a special space of spontaneous, shared art if we mesh our art into others.

Basically, instead of everyone quietly sitting and snapping and waiting their turns, you get up and integrate your own words, sounds, movements, art, etc if you feel compelled and inspired to by the person currently performing. It is a chance within an open environment to improvise and jam with many people, to freely create with strangers.
