Summer Solstice at The Meetinghouse
June 21 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Join us on Saturday, June 21st to honor the summer solstice.
At The Meetinghouse, we honor the rhythms of the seasons for care of self and community. This is an invitation to join us for one or more immersions to celebrate the arrival of Summer.
- 2 pm – Yoga with Wellness Resident, Claire Walker Moffatt
Ages 14+: While the number 108 is sacred in many traditions it is also thought to connect the sun, moon and earth. The average distance of the sun and moon to the earth is 108 times their respective diameters. Sun salutations can be modified as needed. We will move slowly on the breath but expect to leave feeling energized and ready to move into the second half of the year. - 3 pm – Forest Bathing with Heather Cochrane, Environmentalist in Residence
All Ages: Also known as shinrin-yoku in Japanese, a regenerative practice that involves using your senses to connect with nature. This practice can help reduce stress, improve mood and sleep. We invite you to bring an outdoors chair or mat. - 4 pm – Embodied Meditation with Director Deborah Rundlett
All Ages: Engaging with the labyrinth, we will explore a form of walking meditation to connect with your whole person: body, mind and soul. Options will be offered for those who prefer a sitting meditation.
Each experience – $30
All three experiences – $75
