Reiki has roots in ancient Japanese healing practices and is considered a form of energy healing. It stems from the Japanese words “rei,” meaning universal, and “ki,” meaning vital life force energy. It has been shown to provide many benefits, including:

- Reduced anxiety
- Boosted mood
- Reduced pain
- Increased energy
- Improved blood circulation
In a reiki session, the practitioner will use various hand placements above the body or use a hands on approach. The client possibly may feel subtle, soothing, gentle shifts in their energy patterns. Depending upon individual preference, soft music, essential oils, crystals, and sound instruments will be used. The ultimate goal is to relax!
Private Sessions are available in our Wellness Studio on Tuesdays at 11 am with Kristy Leisegang (RYT-500 and Reiki Master) or Wednesdays and Fridays at 12 pm with Megan Couri (Reiki Master).
