If you’re like me, the end of spring turning into summer can leave you feeling like you’re really far behind. There’s so much you want to do, and schedules are always full. It’s hard to feel like you’re making real, actionable progress toward anything.
Learning to set practical goals–the kind that actually fit into your life and lead to real progress–has been a game-changer for me, both in my work and in my persona life on our homestead.
The key? Focus on progress over perfection. Show up consistently. Do the next small thing that moves the needle. You’ll get more done over time plus give yourself a way to realign when things (inevitably) go sideways.
The goal isn’t to be perfect. It’s to keep moving forward—bit by bit—in a direction that aligns with who you are and where you want to go.
Want to try this out today?
Write down one goal—just one. Then break it into the tiniest next step you can think of. That’s your next move. Do that. Once you do that, take on the next tiny step. Before you know it, you’ll have that goal off your list and ready to move on to the next!
Here’s to tiny steps that lead to big change!
Cheering you on,
